Hello my name is Judith, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I am certified from the National Board for Certified Counselors. I am a wife, mother, and family is very important to me. I enjoy working with couples, families, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages to help them remove barriers to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Approach & Values

I believe that if you change your thoughts your behaviors will also change. I tailor treatment using evidence-based approaches to meet the individual needs of my clients. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and other approaches that will benefit my clients.

Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, I have a Master’s of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Expertise

I have an extensive background working with Children and Family Services clients that include children/adolescents in foster care and their families. Additionally, I have experience working with domestic violence victims and individuals that are experiencing physical pain from an injury or illness. I have significant experience working with trauma, grief and loss, addiction, depression, and anxiety.
