My career in behavioral health began in 2013 working as a trainee in a county outpatient mental health clinic. After completing graduate school, I gained clinical skills in crisis (5150) evaluations, intake assessments, substance abuse counseling, the foster youth system, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization programs, residential rehabilitation, and clinical case management for individuals (adults and adolescents) and families.

Approach & Values
A client focused and strengths-based approach is a core value of my therapeutic style. My theoretical orientation includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and the Gottman Method for Couples Counseling.
Education
I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a double concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy /Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Expertise
My clinical experience includes providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. I regard the therapeutic process as collaborative from a whole person perspective. For me, every client is unique and deserve to be supported through evidence-based interventions that are customized to their specific needs and goals.
